Under the supervision of the Director of RF Engineering Services, the RF Engineer III will be assigned to work independently in the group to share the knowledge, skills and experience to work on various RF projects such as RF Design, Optimization, Performance Monitoring, etc... for Mycom customers in the U.S. Should have the knowledge to operate the various RF Planning tools like Planet EV, Aircom3G, ATOLL, etc. Acquire troubleshoot skills in order to resolve issues as they come up until they are resolved. Communicate project completion to customer and Mycom management.
  • RF Design - responsible for RF Design of the networks which include uploading the site database into the RF Planning tools, performing the link budget, Propagation Model tuning for coverage analysis, loading and verification clutter and terrain data, run prediction and optimize the design as per customer guidelines. He/she will also help in guiding the RF Engineer I to perform the task of RF Design.
  • RF Optimization - responsible for pre-launch optimization of a new wireless networks which includes analyzing the drive data and recommending the changes into the network. The RF Engineer III will also be responsible for Post launch optimization or Performance Monitoring of the network as per the customer guidelines. He/she will also perform various parameter audit of cell handoff, coverage, call drop, etc and optimize them to improve the quality of the network as per customer guidelines.
  • Quality - responsible for the delivery of defect-free services to the customer. He/she will work diligently to see that quality is built into the product and that all processes are followed to ensure work is performed according to customer requirements.
  • Reporting - responsible for reporting work completion as per the assigned schedule, and for identifying obstacles to performance. Documentation - will ensure that all work activities and project guide lines and processes are properly documented as necessary to achieve invoicing is complete and available.
  • Candidates must have design experience in UMTS/HDSPA design and/or LTE design
    Strong RF design experience along with UMTS/LTE.
    Atoll tool experience is a must.
    Good communication skills in English.
    Good troubleshooting skills
    Candidate must have understanding of LTE/UMTS fundamentals- link budget, PCI/SC, TA/LAC list, KPI's, etc.
    Understand plumbing diagrams and able to create them (diplexers, duplexers,WBC,MCPA,SCPA)
    Excellent understanding of the Design fundamentals (how to design and measure a network, Monte Carlo, antenna theory, etc).
    Candidate must be willing to travel within the US, lead a team, and work without supervision if necessary.
    Able to identify and interpret customer requirements and develop plans to address them.

Required Skills Qualifications
  • Four to Seven year of RF knowledge and experience or experience in a related field in wireless communications systems.
  • Bachelor''s degree (EE or BSCS) from a four year college-related industry experience.
Knowledge and Skill
  • Very good knowledge of RAN engineering and quality techniques.
  • Developed leadership skills knowledge to train and transfer knowledge to lesser experienced Engineers.
  • Developed knowledge and use of Microsoft suite programs (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Access
  • Good communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written)
  • Good English speaking and writing skills.

Required Experience
