This position will be located at French Lick Resort, French Lick Indiana BASIC FUNCTION: The Conference Center Manager will over see the entire conference floor operation to include the casino, guest satisfaction, room sets, maintenance of Conference space and materials, and management of floor personnel, through standardized service procedures and adherence to policies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Completes all paperwork in a timely manner, including daily reports, change logs, flashes, distribution, weekly reports, weekly staff assignments and schedule, etc. 2. Directs the floor operations of room-sets and refreshes through the supervision of the CSA staff and the conference floor supervisors. 3. Ensures the completion of all duties assigned to the floor supervisors and/or the CSA staff. 4. Maintains the conference floor equipment inventory on a routine basis, ensures its functionality and appearance, and orders necessary parts as needed. 5. Monitors the use of the conference floor inventory and obtains additional stock as needed. 6. May create player accounts within our system and issue player cards in conjunction with the propertys loyalty program. 7. Must be available for completion of staff training, development and appraisals in a timely manner. 8. Monitors and maintains budgetary guidelines. 9. Ensures the adherence to policies, procedures, and standards by Conference Floor personnel and to communicate problems to staff properly. 10. Attends all necessary meetings, including pre- and post-conference meetings, conference review and event orders meetings, conference management meetings, etc. 11. Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the Conference Services office area. 12. Schedules, staffs and completes routine maintenance duties in a timely manner. 13. Monitors the ongoing repair of problem stock items for use in regular inventory. 14. Constantly observes the quality of the product provided by the Conference Floor staff. 15. Performs other related reasonable duties capable of being performed as requested by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. -Must be high school graduate or equivalent. - Must have one-year experience as Conference Floor Supervisor. - Must have general computer skills. - Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. - Must be able to work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays. - Must have excellent communication skills. - Must be able to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers. - Must always present a hospitality mentality—warm and generous. - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
