The role of the Statistical Testing Design Engineer is to ensure tests yield statically valid results through proper test design on the front end, and results validation on the back end for all tests within Consumer. This associate will leverage his/her statistical expertise to maximize the value of each test design. The associate will:
1. Participate in the Consumer Risk test plan creation, ensuring that business partner objectives are combined into an actionable plan
2. Act as the central point of contact between the Modeling and Testing Execution teams to ensure the Consumer Risk testing plan is optimized relative to test design efficiency and properly balances learning objectives and testing expense
3. Work directly with each business partner to review, improve and/or develop a custom testing solution for each business partner
4. Manage design of experiments results reporting, including identifying and communicating the impact of the factors and the interactions to non-analytic business partners
Influences peers, colleagues and managers across organizational lines to take action on complex, technical or sensitive topics with companywide impact
Strong analytic and statistics skills 7+ years
SAS programming experience
Experience in mathematics, statistics or other quant heavy discipline
Experience with Consumer credit products
Experience with Small Business credit and/or deposit products
Data mining/analytic background in any of the following enviornments: Bacardi, Epsilon, and The W.
