Job Description:
TASC is seeking a PART-TIME Instructional Systems Designer and Trainer that will design instructional materials for assigned courses within our Engineering & Operations Business Unit . This includes curriculum development and the analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of current and future instructor-led and computer based training courses. In this key role, you will coordinate and develop courseware materials.

Duties may include:
Meeting with subject matter experts

Coordinating access to subject matter experts and supporting source materials (manuals, regulations, etc.)

Ensuring proper development of lesson materials: objectives, storyboards, instructor/student guides, and final product

Providing final quality control check on lessons and all supporting material

Analyzing the effectiveness of a course and tailoring the course to improve effectiveness

Performing as a stand-up instructor for courses developed

Experience developing training courses for intelligence community.

Essential functions/knowledge: Instructional design, knowledge of the Instructional Systems Design process, interviewing techniques, analytical skills, writing, multimedia design and development, courseware development, stand-up instructional delivery

Required Skills:
Part-time position (20 to 30 hour work week)

B.S./B.A. in Education, Instructional Design, or related field; Masters Degree or formal certification in

Instructional Systems Design highly desired;

Seven years developing instructional programs and applying the ISD methodologies and process in an adult learning environment; good interpersonal and analytical skills; previous experience with developing user guides, instructor guides, student guides, tests and test questions; experience developing computer-based training or multimedia projects to include flow charting, story-boarding, and scripting of training materials; experience performing initial needs analysis and content research, developing and delivering instructor-led and computer-based training programs, and evaluating course effectiveness for both computer-based and instructor-led training.
