Provide excellent customer service leading to client satisfaction Participate and provide insight and expertise within internal client meetings Work closely with the client in providing operational support and solutions to questions and concerns Ensures that the withholding and deductions with net pay are done properly. Organizes and reviews forms associated with federal, state and local tax authorities, including W-2’s Oversees the distribution of paychecks and arranges direct deposit programs Ensures payroll records are updated and reports out on any matters of interest. Work closely with finance and human resource contacts to provide payroll and accounting support Ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll through auditing and controls Review and audit data payments to include in compensation reporting Import and export payroll data Reconcile and support reconciliation of several key payroll accounts Research issues leading up to the period close Participate in operations software implementations and upgrades Administrator ad hoc projects and reports Maintain employee records and information to ensure legal compliance and to provide beneficial and timely management reporting Ensure SOX 404 compliance related to the payroll cycle Assess and improve processes where there are opportunities for better efficiencies and controls Resolve employee concerns regarding wage payments and associated taxation or other deduction issues Research new payroll regulations and notify management of major changes Delphi: Payroll Specialist
