In this role, you will provide accounting and clerical support functions for one of our financial units. Using business judgment on issues and tasks, you will have impact on financial and departmental activities. You will also work closely with technical financial staff to assist with special projects or research.
Responsible for daily completion of the critical operational cash function. Independently participates in teh development and production of critical analysis and reporting of financial and operational transactions in relation to daily and month to date General Ledger postings. Identifies and works to help resolve issues as they arise. Individual may also develop forecasting, budget reporting, and/or competitor market analysis of moderate complexity. Individual must communicate with and reach out to key stakeholders as needed and present findings/recommendations to Managers.
Responsible for complex accounting and financial analysis, timely and accurate posting of operational cash. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively utilizing advanced technical accounting knowledge. Ensures appropriate use of historical information and current trends. Understands regulatory environment. Identifies, recommends and executes resolutions to issues as they arise.
Responsible for timely process and reconciliation of bank account data, and accurate execution and release of electronic payment transfers.
Independently supports moderately complex financial and operational planing, projections and budgeting process, including data management, analysis and reporting. Identifies, recommends and executesresolutions to issues as they arise.
Responsible for following enterprise risk management and compliance procedures. Follows risk management and quality compliance processes to include quality control compliance (i.e. OFAC, attestation). Follows safeguards to protect company assets and ensure compliance with Corporate and Company procedures.
Leads projects of low to moderate scope and complexity. Communicates project opportunities and constraints to Supervisor while monitoring project status. May also actively participate in cross-functional projects of moderate to complex scope.
Identifies, develops and maintains efficient, cost effective, processes, controls and data management.
May review work, serve as a technical resource, provide training and/or guidance to junior staff (Interns/co-ops, Associate Financial Analysts, Financial Analysts and/or FIFAs).
Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years of financial related experience is preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting knowledge/skill is required.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work with management and key stakeholders in SBU/Corporate Departments.
