Our growth has recently moved our headquarters to the vibrant downtown mall location in Charlottesville, VA.
We are seeking a Director of Marketing to plan and support multi-channel marketing strategies to assist WorldStrides in achieving its growth goals. This person will effectively position products supporting WorldStrides programs in their relative markets, effectively providing service to customers and drive increased revenues. They will develop, plan and direct the graphic production (print and electronic) of collateral.
The key responsibility is to create, direct, implement, and monitor comprehensive short and long-term marketing plans for WorldStrides:
- To plan, implement, and evaluate sales promotional activities including print, electronic, direct mail, social media, and web.
- To increase/maintain market share position by addressing level of service provided to all customers (external and internal) at the pre-and post-sale level.
- To increase revenues from existing base of customers (group size, share of wallet, tools to develop educator's performance while promoting our programs, etc).
4 year degree required, preferably in the field of communications, research, or marketing. Strong experience in marketing, direct mail, advertising, or account management. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work in a stressful office environment. Some travel required.
Requires computer data entry skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Some light lifting required.
