Senior Strategist-CRM Focus

Our rapidly growing Seattle office is currently looking for a Senior Strategist with deep experience in CRM to join the Strategy & Insights team. If you have CRM, RM or DM experience (either agency or client-side), we’d like to talk with you.
As Senior Strategist you will play an important role in the development of relationship marketing (RM) programs and strategies for our clients, including Microsoft and T-Mobile. Working with agency staff and clients to develop RM campaign plans, you will collect and synthesize information into customer, competitive and business environment insights that are used to drive program and strategy recommendations for more senior members of the strategy team. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing junior members of the department.
The Successful Candidate
You will have designed and implemented CRM programs.You are self-motivated, team-oriented, and have a strong personal interest in understanding CRM, customer behavior, communication channels (especially online/interactive), and strategy. Your exceptional verbal and written communications skills, keen interest in digging for information and learning new things, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs to identify trends and applicable insights, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a preference for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment will be key to your success in this role.
BA/BS degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
5-10 years experience in agency or client-side CRM programs
3-5 years experience in developing and implementing relationship marketing programs using Direct Mail, E-Mail, Tele, Display and Social Media
Must have a thorough understanding of fundamental direct marketing/CRM concepts including: testing, audience segmentation and profiling, use of predictive models and relational databases
Strong analytic skills – ability to translate data into information and insights; disciplined and structured problem solving skills. Facility with reading and understanding quantitative reports and conducting analysis of raw data
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior team members
Strong written communications skills
Strong verbal and presentation communication skills
Team-oriented, collaborative approach, but willing and able to take overall responsibility for deliverables when appropriate
Sense of humor and grace, ability to deal with ambiguity, frequently changing priorities and compressed time frames
Microsoft Office capability with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Client service-oriented and pleasant personality
