Software Engineer Intern
This position is for an internship within a team exploring innovative system energy efficiency techniques for high performance computing. You will be working on developing and evaluating proofs-of-concepts to improve energy efficiency of high-end HPC systems.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must be pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Electrical Engineering
Have good working knowledge of software development and testing in C, C++, Perl, Python on Linux. Should be comfortable at setting up clusters of systems, analyzing and modifying various components of software stack (OS, libraries, application). Experience in parallel programming and message passing interfaces (MPI) pertinent to HPC/supercomputing environment are highly desirable.
