The organisation is a provider of strategic IT consulting and professional services with a 10 year track record of delivering strategy, storage and virtualisation solutions. Due to growth the company is seeking a business development manager to focus on enterprise customers.
Based in their Melbourne CBD office, you will be responsible for the complete sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, presentations and closing business. This will involve working closely with the CEO to strategise accounts and prospects. Senior Consultants will be available to you to provide Pre Sales expertise. Sales cycles vary from 1 3 months and longer for larger ticket deals. As the organisation is vendor agnostic, you will have the opportunity to leverage business with a range of vendors.
You will be targeting CIOs, Infrastructure Managers and business leaders to identify consulting opportunities. This may involve solutions to optimise infrastructure, architect projects or assistance with IT strategy or infrastructure related implementations.
To be successful in this role you will have a track record of selling services and / or consulting to enterprise. You will be highly competent in solutions selling and have a track record of engaging with IT Managers and C level executives.
