This position is responsible for provision and management of patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. Under general direction of physician, coordinates care of Orthopaedic clients from initial consultation through rehabilitation, serving as resource for patients, families, physicians, and other health team members in the delivery of Orthopaedic care. Utilizes critical thinking abilities in evaluation of care and the triage of patients. Displays good rapport and professionalism with all customers. Practices within the scope of RN licensure.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Degree from an accredited school of professional nursing. Three years clinical experience in Orthopedics.

Must: (1) enter 4,000 keystrokes per hour; (2) possess basic knowledge of PC applications, software, and database management.

Preferred:

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: Current Alabama RN license. Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
