- All duties of a Customer Service Assistant and Checker
- Provides direction to Central Checkout Partners as well as feedback and coaching
- Under the direction of their supervisor, provides routine verbal and first written warnings on the Attendance & Punctuality and Cash Over and Shorts policies
- Ensures appropriate ratios are available based on customer needs and traffic flow to provide minimum throughput expectations
- Makes scheduling decisions when appropriate
- Assists the department in achieving financial goals (wrap, IPB, cash O/S) sales and role models outstanding customer service
- Maintains sanitation standards, monitors and manages potential front-end shrink
- Approves and reviews financial transactions at the checkstand (override capabilities)


- Alcohol Sellers training
- Checker Training
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision at times
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Accurately identifies and responds to customers needs
- Involves appropriate others to address customer needs
