Provide quality service to lending officers and customers through accurate and timely processing of tax and insurance related documents. Follow-up customer inquiries and perform payment/processing of escrow accounts for Loan Department. Effectively manage the documentation scanning, categorizing, tracking and archiving system, to ensure accurate and timely document imaging and archiving for all loan operations.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required. Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations. Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity. If applicable, ensure direct reports meet the above requirements and take action to address employee performance issues.
Input and track insurance and tax information and review for accuracy and required content.
Handle all escrow functions relating to loans, including disbursements and analysis.
Monitor and track flood and hazard insurance issues to ensure proper record maintenance.
Verify, track, and update life insurance policies used as collateral on loans.
Conduct tracking of non-escrowed loan accounts, and perform annual confirmation that insurance premiums are paid.
Manage the documentation tracking system for all items that pertain to the lending function in a timely manner.
Manage the electronic document scanning program
Provide exceptional, quality customer service through customer phone contact and inquiries.
Assist Loan Department support staff with archiving and other miscellaneous tasks.
Support the Loan Servicing Desk as necessary.
Knowledge, Experience, Education, Physical Qualifications:
Proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, and meticulous follow-through qualities.
Precision and ability to work independently.
Regular and predictable attendance.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Effective interpersonal and service contact skills.
Professional, personal appearance and action.
Familiarity with accounting/mortgage processing software programs a plus
Previous finance/escrow experience a plus.
