The ProTrans Sales Consultant has a vital role in ensuring the success and growth of our company. To be successful you will need to be self-directed and a team player. Additionally, you will need to utilize your comprehensive understanding of global logistics to identify client’s needs, develop complex supply chain solutions that meet their needs, present those solutions clearly and concisely to our client’s executive teams, and implement those solutions. Your ability to be self-directed but also a team player will help you meet these goals. By leveraging your expertise to accomplish these goals, you will be well compensated.


• Successfully identify prospect and target accounts whose needs align with ProTran’s value propositions

• Utilize your consultive skills to unearth your prospect’s and client’s needs

• Create strategic selling strategies that demonstrate value to your prospects and clients

• Coordinate account administrative functions such as new account set up procedures as well as accounting discrepancies and collections

• Interact with existing customers to evaluate customer satisfaction and improve customer service by modifying sales agreements and/or work with Operations to make operational changes as needed

• Continuously help current customers improve their current supply through analysis and performance reviews

• Consistently close new business in all PTI offerings and further develop service offerings to existing customers

• Identify and implement continual improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, team, and company

• Effectively utilize internal and external assets to maximize revenues and sales opportunities

• Function as a valuable team member on our sales team

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
