Yelp is seeking a superstar to lead its facilities and office management function in our Scottsdale office. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership and vision in the areas of facilities and office management. The Facilities Manager will establish and manage a diverse set of projects that supports our growth and success while aligned with our values and employee culture. This position will report to the Director of Facilities.

Be the single point of contact for all facilities and services functions in Scottsdale.

Perform liaison function with Property Management for Yelp’s Scottsdale office.

Perform optimization assessments of existing facilities to improve seating densities, ergonomics, space utilization and to meet code requirements.

Ensure our team is as productive as possible from an office and support perspective.

Provide services and other amenities to employees as we continue to grow. Services include reception, hospitality, general office services.

Assess and define short and long-term building and facilities needs for the team. Keep current on Yelp hiring trends, growth sectors and available capacity.

Planning, directing, coordinating & budgeting for a single facility including hiring personnel if needed.

Lead disaster response and safety planning initiatives and teams.

Oversee office space planning to include seating plan generation, furniture installation/reconfiguration, and space optimization.

Support new hire set-ups, inter-office moves, and company moves. May include moves of personnel and their effects from different metropolitan locations.

Manage/Coordinate the work of outside business partners, contractors and vendors.

Manage all aspects of the facilities (HVAC, security, furniture, base building services, and other services as noted above).

Requirements :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

At least 8 to 10 years experience in facilities management required.

Incredibly well-organized, articulate and methodical in approach and communication style.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced and rigorous environment.

Managing small to medium construction projects required.
