PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALIST-MOTIVE POWER
East Penn Manufacturing, Inc., Co., (Deka Battery) is currently seeking 2 Product Support Specialists for the Motive Power division who will maintain a professional and positive customer service image. Responsibilities for this position will include administering and reporting product warranties, as well as provide field service training and technical support to agents and customers. Will also interface with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to provide technical support and resolve quality and product issues, and troubleshoot customer product issues and write recommendations for corrective action. Qualified candidates should possess knowledge of lead acid batteries, have strong mechanical and electrical background including AC/DC. Must be able to read schematics and have basic electronic knowledge. Must also have excellent computer, verbal, organizational, and written skills. Self-motivation and ability to work independently is a must. This position will require traveling for periods of one to two weeks at a time.
