To provide superior customer service to internal and external customers in a professional manner in person and by phone. Provide clerical/administrative support to department head and branch. Answer telephones for the department. Resolve routine questions and refer more complex issues to higher level. Perform various special projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Provide telephone support utilizing First Interstate Bank telephone standards.
Meet and greet customers utilizing our Sales and Service standards.
Clerical & organizational assistance of department, filing, typing and processing mail.
Process invoices for payment.
Order and maintain supplies; arrange for equipment maintenance.
Schedule use of conference room, training room, video conferencing and bank vehicles.
Assist with set up for Sales and Service training for the Holding Company.
Schedule and prepare invitations for new hire and anniversary luncheons.
Assist customers and employees with requests for donations and sponsorships.
Assist in tracking tenant leases, process tenant lease payments and maintain log.
Assist in drafting of CRA report.
Assist with special projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to three years of administrative support experience preferred. Position requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality . Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work well with co-workers. Ability to properly prioritize work load and remain adaptable under pressure. Computer skills essential. Computer experience with Internet, Windows98, GroupWise, MS Word & MS Excel preferred. Ability to learn new computer programs essential. Ability to pay attention to detail required, especially in time-sensitive and pressure situations. Professional grooming and adherence to FIB dress code.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to handle customer inquiries, concerns and complaints in a polite and effective manner. Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
