This position will perform physical inspections of charitable gaming organizations and facilities to determine compliance with charitable gaming laws and regulations. Prepares beginning level inspection reports, issues violation notices and examines financial records. Advises charitable gaming licensees on gaming requirements and other duties as assigned. This position requires work on a regular basis on weekends and holidays. Frequent travel, including overnight. Job duties are largely performed during evening hours. Regular exposure to secondary tobacco smoke at inspection site. Work counties include Perry, Whitley, Knox, Laurel, Clay and Leslie. |

Characteristics of the Class :
Performs duties in the inspection and monitoring of charitable gaming activities to ensure compliance with charitable gaming law (KRS Chapter 238); and performs other duties as required.
Typical Working Conditions and Unique Physical Requirements :
Nature of industry requires work on a regular basis on weekends and occasionally on holidays. Extensive automobile travel (including overnight travel) is required throughout an assigned geographic region in the performance of inspections. Job duties will largely be performed during evening hours. There will be regular exposure to secondary tobacco smoke at inspection sites.
