The Administrative Division of the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Inc., Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain The Foundation in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. The technician is responsible for maintaining all hard surface floors, cleaning all carpet, office areas, disposing of all trash, cleaning and sanitizing all restrooms. Performs related duties as assigned. The work schedule for this position will be 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Landscape/Environmental Services Manager.
A minimum of High School education or equivalent is required. Reading and writing skills required.

Essential Duties – (95%)
Responsible for general and specific cleaning duties at the specified facilities at SRNF.
Responsible to lock doors, turn off all lights (except those designated to be left on for the Administrative, Agriculture, Plant Biology and Forage Improvement buildings.
Secondary Duties – (5%)
Performs related duties as assigned.
Responsible for reporting any peculiar occurrences on Foundation property to the Landscape/Environmental Services Manager.
Education: Reading and writing skills necessary, as well as basic mathematics.
Experience: Being familiar with custodial work is helpful.
OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate machines (buffers, scrubbers, etc.)
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting & Carrying: Must be able to lift pieces of equipment weighing from 50 to 100 pounds every day and must be able to lift boxes of supplies weighing from 10 to 75 pounds everyday.
Pushing & Pulling: Must be able to push and pull equipment in normal cleaning operation.
Body Positions: Walks approximately 6.5 hours a day performing cleaning duties.
Body Movements: Must bend, stoop and reach for extended periods while performing cleaning duties.
Hand Use: Use hands in every aspect of custodial work.
Sense of Touch: Must sense compression of buffer switch and sense center balance to prevent damage to equipment or surrounding areas.
Hearing: Must be able to hear while operating equipment in case of equipment problems.
Vision: Must use vision in reading labels on cleaning supplies, as well as using vision in every aspect of carrying out daily cleaning duties.
Mathematics: Must have basic mathematic skills for calculating chemical mixtures.
Remembering: Remembering is a necessity for daily cleaning duties, especially those that are repetitive in nature.
Language ability: Must be able to read and interpret labels on cleaning supplies and communicate with fellow employees.
Reasoning: Must use reasoning while working for safety reasons as well as performing job well.
Must interact with others in the spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and helpfulness.
