Nebraska Book Company, Inc., a leading developer of
software for the Bookstore industry, currently has an IT Helpdesk/Retail Support
position open. Applicant will
assist with help desk calls from our corporate and retails locations all over
the US. These requests include
desktop/software support, system configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance
of NBC operated retail locations throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities:
  • Support retail
and corporate users with any IT requests. Help troubleshoot and resolve any IT
requests.
  • Support our
internal software that operate our stores
  • Assist in the
after hours support rotation via cell phone.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with
desktop support, and various software like Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Windows
operating systems for PC and Server.
  • Experience with
remote access tools like Remote Desktop, PCAnywhere, and Terminal
Emulation.
  • Knowledge of
networks and firewalls
  • Knowledge of
AIX UNIX a plus
  • A valid Drivers
License is required as some travel may be required
  • Familiarity
with POS and retail systems a plus
  • Must be able to
lift 50 lbs.
