Diebold is currently moving to a centralized talent acquisition function. We have a number of Talent Acquisition Specialist positions available at both intermediate, and senior levels located in Charlotte, Chicago, and Dallas.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Diebold, you will support the strategic business objectives by effectively and efficiently filling open positions in your area of responsibility. You will be responsible for assisting in all recruiting activities Manager level and below which include: recruiting strategies, candidate sourcing, interview process, evaluation, and recommendation for hire.
Your essential functions will include:
Posting, updating and ensuring consistency of all internal and external job postings.
Taking a proactive approach to meeting staffing requirements to include: attracting, sourcing, and screening applicants using a variety of innovative sourcing techniques while staying abreast of developing market conditions and trends.
Acting as a Diebold Brand advocate, community manager, social media expert, relationship builder, and business partner.
Understanding sourcing strategies of Diebold’s U.S. Talent Acquisition team for both passive and active candidates.
Focusing on identifying strong diverse talent by designing and executing creative sourcing strategies.
Leveraging and building internal referrals.
Networking with professional organizations and specialty groups to assist in sourcing efforts.
Collaborating with Talent Management to identify internal associates eligible for a transfer or promotion.
Collaborating with Talent Sourcer and University Relations to build candidate pipelines and candidate relationship management processes.
Conducting initial screening of candidates through Taleo, or current applicant tracking system.
Preparing candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
Conducting telephone and in person interviews as required.
Coordinating necessary process requirements for interviewees and new hires.
Serving as the main point of contact for all candidates for the pre-hire assessments.
Coordinating with third party recruiters as necessary.
Providing candidate feedback in a timely manner.
Working with Diebold HR partners on job descriptions for accurate postings.
Developing and maintaining all position related materials including interview notes from Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and hiring team and other documents as necessary.
Ensuring processes and procedures promote the best talent; meet internal promotional goals, and promote consistent onboarding process.
Maintaining accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidate searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure company and legal compliance with employment practices.
Working with senior management, hiring managers and local Human Resources staff to develop yearly staffing plans, workforce planning strategies and search assignments.
Working to meet established metrics per the assigned business unit or function.
Providing insightful analysis of reports and make recommendations for improvements.
Promoting Diebold and Strategic Business Units/Specific brands across numerous markets and professional communities.
Continually working on acquiring a higher level of knowledge and skills related to talent acquisition as well as knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.

A four year college degree in HR, OD, Communications, or business is required. Masters degree is a plus.
Applicants should have at least 2 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience.
Experience sourcing candidates across entry level to senior level positions.
General knowledge of employment law and hiring practices required.
Experience and proficiency using staffing tools such as applicant tracking systems, HRIS, electronic job boards, social media sites and candidate sourcing applications.
Sourcing and searching techniques for passive and active candidates is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to fill positions within time to fill target, within budget and with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and be trusted to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong bias toward action, attention to detail and driving issues to successful and timely closure.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
Willingness to recruit aggressively while adhering to ethical business practices.
Team player mentality; ability to collaborate with all management levels.
Adherence to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
Internet navigation and data mining skills for recruiting purposes is a plus.
