The successful candidate will be able to contribute to a software development team in all areas of the software development life-cycle, including: scheduling, requirements derivation, software architecture, design, implementation in C/C++, unit test, and system integration. We will count on your Real-Time Embedded software development experience and general embedded Operating System (OS) knowledge. Our target environment is Linux, so familiarity with the Linux Operating System (OS) and its environment is something we will count on. Do you have experience with software security vulnerabilities? If so, that’s perfect for what we’re going to accomplish. Your knowledge of networking RFCs (IKE and IPSec), PKI and X.509 Certificates, and cryptographic algorithms is a plus. If you understand how to use process to benefit the program goals and work as part of a geographically distributed team then we’re looking for you!
8+ years related experience
Embedded Operating System knowledge
Experience with Linux Operating Systems
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
Ability to travel up to 25%
Knowledge of networking RFCs (IKE and IPSec), PKI and X.509 Certificates, and cryptographic algorithms
Knowledge of software security vulnerabilities
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) practices and the ability to capture OOD using the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
Experience developing common code for multiple targets
C++, Object Oriented Design experience, and UML knowledge
Experience with Rhapsody or other design modeling tools
Experience with Perforce or other Configuration Management tools
