P osition Summary:
Plante & Moran is seeking a motivated, dependable person to lead our Collaboration Services Team which has a primary emphasis on SharePoint and SQL in our Southfield office. The Collaborations Services Team Leader is a technical leader with experience in administering SQL and SharePoint environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic vision, strong problem solving abilities, and direct experience managing a team. Leadership skills are a must !

This person will work in a challenging, fast paced, team environment. Our Technology Services Team prides itself on being a World Class Service Organization providing support to our staff at the highest level possible. This role will oversee a group of individuals that support a 24/7 production environment that includes our SharePoint, SQL, and Identity Management.
S pecific Responsibilities include:
Managing our SQL and SharePoint technical environments with oversight of day to day operations and future vision to support our Firm’s long-term strategic vision.
Managing a team of 5-6 members, establishing performance goals, conducting annual performance appraisals, and responsible for career development of team members.
Ensuring that all team members have clear goals and direction and are working on the right priorities/projects to further the Firm’s long-term strategic vision.
Working with team leaders and project managers to allocate staff and technical resources, establishing clear priorities, and tracking progress to meet established milestones.
Meeting regularly with our Support, Infrastructure, and Solution Design and Delivery Team Leaders identifying ways to improve our processes and procedures.
Identify ways to provide increased business value to our business units that we serve.
Oversee vendor relationships and assess vendor solutions for our Collaboration Services product suite.

Building Relationships – Builds trust and rapport with others; develops and maintains collaborative relationships with business units and others to meet mutual goals and objectives; able to act in a consultative role to gather and understand business needs and goals from senior level executives and to guide the team to build solutions based on that data.
The ideal candidate should:
Have 3+ years’ experience managing a team of individuals.
Have 3+ years’ experience managing day to day operations of a SQL or SharePoint Environment.
Build, implementation and management experience of products/solutions such as:
MS SQL 2005/ 2008,
MS Dynamics CRM.
Knowledge or experience with Identity Management Systems or role based access control is a plus.
Additional experience with the following is preferred;
Windows 7 Workstations,
Security Principles ,
Web Services and the .NET Framework,
Bachelor's Degree is Required
Master's Degree Preferred
Travel & Hours
This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during workweek.
Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity.
