The Cervical Cancer-free America (CCFA) is an initiative to end cervical cancer in America. The goals of CCFA are to increase HPV vaccination among young female adolescents, and to increase cervical cancer screening among women who have not been screened in the last four years. CCFA seeks a full-time Project Manager, who will assist in developing the national initiative and lead grant writing and advocacy projects related to HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screening as part of a multi-state initiative to end cervical cancer. We especially look for a new colleague who will share our passion for public health, has the ability to build multi-state teams and accomplish practical goals, and has strong communication, fundraising and project management skills.

The Project Manager will collaborate with Dr. Jennifer Smith, an expert in HPV and cervical cancer, and work with a highly productive group at UNC, including Dr. Noel Brewer, an expert on HPV vaccine uptake and medical decision making, and professors at collaborating universities. The position is in the Epidemiology Department in the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Heath.

Qualifications:
1. Require candidate with 2+ years experience in project management, program evaluation, multi-site program implementation related efforts

2. Experience in grant-writing preferred. Strong proposal writing, negotiation, networking, and verbal communication skills required. Ability to develop compelling written materials and presentations required

Education Requirements: An MPH or PhD in public health, epidemiology, behavioral science or related field
