The SharePoint Developer collaborates with Marketing and IT department team members in the design development and support of custom NETSharePoint applications used by employees and clients of the Firm In addition to working with Marketing and IT department team members this individual will interact with others throughout the firm The position is based in Mountain View California Essential Duties And Responsibilities Act independently and under general direction to perform projectbased and timesensitive tasks Collaborate with fellow Marketing and IT department team members in the design development and support of custom NETSharePoint applications Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs resolve conflicts develop best practices and choose solutions Design build and maintain web site user interfaces using authoring or scripting languages content creation tools management tools and digital media Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements Create web models or prototypes that include physical interface logical or data models Incorporate technical considerations into web site design plans Incorporate programming languages and UI design tools such as HTML XSLT JavaScript CSS into NETSharePoint components Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid properly structured meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers devices or operating systems Recommend and implement performance improvements Comply with professional and industry standards for documenting backing up and safeguarding custom programming work Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge Skills and Abilities To perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position Expertise in applying the following technologies SharePoint (all versions administration configuration object model web part and application development) VBNET andor C (ASPNET console web service applications) CAML HTML XML XSLT CSS JavaScript VSS source control SharePoint Designer Ability to organize tasks and priorities under minimal supervision Ability to collaborate with team members Ability to interact with others throughout the Firm Ability to deal responsibly with sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and secure manner Ability to function in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Other desirable skills include Branding SharePoint UI’s with thorough knowledge of HTML XSLT CSS and JavaScript Integrating SharePoint with Aderant Financial System InterAction CRM Hummingbird DM5 and other lineofbusiness applications Experience designing customizing and implementing enduser SharePoint solutions such as Microsoft Office integrationautomation SharePoint Wiki’s SharePoint Lists SharePoint project management Workflow management andor Dashboards Office automation via NET SQL Server (SQL TSQL stored procedures triggers clustering) Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing applications in a Microsoft environment 23 years developing NET and SharePoint custom components andor applications SharePoint 2010 SharePoint; VB.Net; ASP.Net; HTML; XSLT; JavaScript; CSS, .NET
