GENERAL FUNCTION: The Ranger reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the stewardship of buildings and grounds at Camp Gorham in the Adirondacks. The Ranger is responsible for maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment, electrical, water, and general mechanical services to ensure camp readiness year around. The Ranger will ensure that safety in and around the buildings and grounds is maintained and monitored. Residency is an expectation.

QUALIFICATIONS : The candidate must possess proficient mechanical know-how and experience in HVAC, plumbing. septic, refrigeration, carpentry and electrical repairs. Candidate must be familiar with operation and repair of maintenance equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent education is required and a minimum of five years experience in a related area. A high standard of personal reliability and initiative is desired. Candidates must be able to function independently. A valid New York State Drivers License is required.
