We are recruiting for a Fractionation Operator to join our team at the ethanol plant in Jefferson, Wisconsin. This position is responsible for the operation of the plant’s Fractionation System, working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the Company. Responsibilities include a detailed understanding of the Fractionation corn cleaning system.
Monitors and controls plant operations.
Constantly reviews the operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Detailed understanding of the corn cleaning system.
Have a working understanding of the grinding and sifting setup.
Have an active understanding of starch and oil recovery calculations are derived.
Working understanding of conveying systems.
Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption, etc., on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis, as required.
High school diploma or general education degree required.
Experience in the operation of a Fractionation System highly preferred.
