The Children's Clinic provides a ranges of services from well-child care to educational and outreach programs. They care for children with complex medical, psychosolcial problems, and acute and chronic childhood illnesses. They also provide develpmental, behavioral, nurtional assessment and guidance, and parent education.
To coordinate and assist with managing clinic support services and clinic operations. This person will provide administrative support and will work closely with the Director of Ambulatory Services and the Children's Clinic Manager to improve and assist with managing clinic operations. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development of systems to best support work process and work flow in he above clinics. This position will provide leadership to secretarial and other non-clinical support staff including the ambulatory service coordinators to the above clinics, and assist the manager in the Clinics' operations. This position will also be responsible for the orientation, training and supervision of support staff as directed and to provide overall clinic management assistance as directed.
4 years post high school education plus 2 years experience supervising staff, working in a lead position and providing administration support in a health care setting, and/or 4 years supervising staff working in a lead position and providing administration support in a health care setting
