Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job:
1.) Ensure site profitability by developing and maintaining store budgets and sales targets and other performance factors.
Formulate a monthly operational budget and sales forecast. Identify and track key labor and sales percentages. Schedule personnel. Routinely monitor and react accordingly to various management reports, register transactions, shift reports, etc. Review operating statements and control margins. Oversee inventory programs. Review all payroll records for accuracy. Successfully pass (85% or better and 0 critical violations) all food safety audits, inspections, and standards reviews.
2.) Develop a well trained staff by providing routine training, clear expectations, and effective performance feedback.
Hire, fire, coach, evaluate, and discipline people. Develop people for promotion. Encourage, support and guide others in their efforts to resolve problems and improve conditions. Work side-by-side with employees. Adhere to employee evaluation schedules. Develop and encourage employee feelings of ownership and teamwork for entire site, not just specific work areas.
3.) Maintain compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.
Make frequent unannounced visits, at a variety of times, to site. Document and evaluate the effectiveness and accurate implementation of store policies, procedures and quality standards. Constantly communicates and follows through with subordinates and above-site leadership, all opportunities and compliance issues.|
