This position is responsible for managing a population of mortgage insurance claims and providing supporting documentation to see claims through to completion. Responsible for ensuring that all items are provided on time by monitoring claims on a daily basis and working with MI carriers to ensure all claim requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete document requests from MI Carriers.
Monitor claims to ensure all requirments are met until claim resolution.
Complete information requests from claim filing vendor.
Prepare and file MI claims as assigned.
Audit MI claims for assigned associate.
Update and maintain MI database on a loan level basis.
Weekly document tracker report.
Special assignments and projects as assigned.
Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Associate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High effectiveness working under daily and monthly deadlines.
Must possess the ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to complete detailed research and a critical attention to detail is a must.
Microsoft Excel and Access skills required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of mortgage servicing and/or origination experience is required.
