Perform or lead embedded system prototyping projects in the Boeing Research and Technology Electronics Prototyping and Integration Center (EPIC). EPIC prototyping projects focus on demonstrating the application of new technologies to both existing and new Boeing product lines. Current areas of focus are unmanned autonomous vehicle mission systems, sensor and image processing, and advanced mission processing. Experience in development of embedded systems using off-the-shelf industry standard form factors such as VPX and PCI, and embedded real-time operating systems such as VxWorks and Integrity is required. Experience with VHDL, JAVA, Ada, and/or electronic packaging is desired given the wide variety of prototyping projects performed in the EPIC.

ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
