Foundry Product Engineering is responsible for meeting product goals for delivery, cost, yield, performance, and reliability throughout lifecycle (introduction, qualification, ramp, volume production, end of life), and engaging both individually and as a team member to analyze and solve all related yield and reliability problems, focusing on wafer fab execution. Perform sort data analysis, root cause and problem solving, yield modeling (Ys/Yr) analysis and improvement, goal setting, product characterization and engineering use of wafer test programs, bitmapping, effective data/statistical analysis and presentation (esp. spatial), physical and electrical failure analysis. Utilizes knowledge of sort test programs, conditions, and capabilities, product design and block layout, interaction of sort test with design, bitmap interpretation, fab process technology and flow, data analysis/mining applications and techniques, wafer electrical test (WET) parameters and their influences and effects, and reliability physics.
A technology related Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience plus 2 years of related Non-volatile memory experience. A Master's degree or Ph.D. and relevant experience is preferred. Requires experience and a demonstrated product engineering technical expertise in product, performance, yield analysis and testing characterization with the ability to organize and drive projects to completion in manufacturing facility. Positive human relations, administrative and organizational management skills are also a necessary requirement.
