Under the supervision of the Network and Support Manager, and working with a team of other IT professionals to assist in the management, monitoring, and support of CMHA-CEI computer servers and network systems to ensure high levels of availability and security. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing server, storage, and network hardware, software, and communication links. Perform server, storage, and network design and capacity planning. Manage server operations and maintenance for all production systems, including file, e-mail, virtualization, backup, and terminal servers, to ensure the highest levels of availability and performance. Conduct research on server, storage, and network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning.

Two year degree in Computer Science, information technology, or similar computer degree required. Education requirement may be waived for 2-3 years related experience in managing a 100+ Windows based PC environment. Two years minimum experience installing, configuring, and maintain Windows 2003/2008/2008R2 server including Active Directory and Terminal Services. VMware ESX and SAN management a plus.

Conditional Employment Requirements:
