ViaSat is looking for a creative, bright, and innovative Program Manager to work at the forefront of what makes us successful.
As a successful Program Manager you will be managing the cost, schedule, technical and customer relations aspects of satellite communication antenna programs at the enterprise level. You have a proven record of successfully leading a development effort through design and verification stages. You have excellent customer relations and communications skills and will serve as the primary customer interface through the life of the program. In addition, you’ll be responsible to grow your business area in terms of strategy development, profit and loss, customer interfacing, product evolution, marketing of the product line, and presentations to customers and senior management. We will look to you to lead, direct, and motivate cross-functional teams across multiple organizations while ensuring our customers’ requirements are being met. You’ll get to participate in and lead proposal pursuits and contract negotiations thereby continuing ViaSat’s success. Experience/Skills Requirements:
- 10+ years of project/program management and customer management experience.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project and be proficient in developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules
- Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams through multiple phases of the product and service lifecycle
- US Citizenship
- Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance
- Travel up to 25%
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
