Dartmouth College Director of Academic and Campus Technology Services Dartmouth College is seeking a Director of Academic and Campus Technology Services. This position reports to the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (VP/CIO). This is an outstanding opportunity to provide leadership and strategic direction for delivery of technology services to faculty, staff and students at Dartmouth College. The successful candidate will promote innovative and thoughtful use of technology in teaching, learning and scholarship. He or she will direct initiatives and innovation in the use of technologies that advance the educational mission of the institution. He or she will also provide leadership to the groups who provide support services to employees and students. As a direct report to the Vice President, the Director participates in the strategic and operational planning for the IT organization. This position requires advanced experience in leading technology service groups and providing IT support in a heterogeneous environment. Position Purpose:
To provide vision, leadership and coordination for delivering technology services to faculty, staff and students. Supervises teams of professionals who provide the technology support to faculty, staff and students, and who support delivery of technology in the classroom. Participates in division-wide planning, budgeting, staffing, and policy decisions.

Skills & Knowledge:
Experience in leading complex technology service groups. Experienced oversight and management of complex projects. Knowledge and experience in the application of information technology to solve problems or improve learning. Understands pedagogical issues associated with using technology in teaching, learning and research and 21st century learning environments. Working technical knowledge and familiarity with current digital technologies and principal vendors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively manage financial and staff resources. Ability to exercise discretion, independent judgment, and vision. Demonstrated ability to foster a positive work environment. Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.

Minimum Experience:
Five years leading a complex IT support group that supports a heterogeneous user population.

Minimum Education:
Minimum of a Master's degree and an appropriate combination of education and professional experience.
