This position is responsible for prospecting, sales, relationship management, retention and revenue growth of Major Markets clients.
Leverage industry knowledge, relationships and a consultative sales approach to identify, develop and close high value business opportunities with new prospects and within the existing installed base of clients.
Continuously review major markets landscape and work with the Market Leader to develop, implement and execute new and creative strategies for growing the market segment.
Work with product management to execute strategy, including expanded business opportunities through investment in new or enhanced products.
Consistently achieve annual revenue budget and growth expectations.
Partner with Clients to set, implement and manage client’s annual and quarterly sales goals.
Prepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships with Clients. Provide ongoing contractual management.
Become a trusted advisor to client executive level leadership. Leverage internal senior executives and SMEs to establish thought leadership and to grow company mindshare.
Facilitate training for client SMEs and other personnel. Provide on-going sales support and assist client GTM personnel as appropriate to facilitate revenue growth.
Facilitate issue resolution working with internal resources.
Comply with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained
Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
Five years’ experience working with sales and account management in the financial services industry.
Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing a complex, competitive sales effort
Experience negotiating business agreements and ability to enhance existing and develop new business partnerships
Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to build and grow senior level relationships throughout the client’s entire enterprise.
Highly motivated, results-oriented professional with a demonstrated record of success.
Effective negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and technical skills and ability to understand multiple environments to include a detailed understanding of all solutions.
Travel up to 60%.
Approved background and drug screen is required.
