Underwriting/Quality Assurance Department
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Support Underwriting/QA Manager to ensure successful implementation of new products as well as changes to existing products.
Assist in evaluating and implementing product changes by providing data analysis and reporting.
Ensure data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources for assigned product segments.
Input and manage rate schedules in custom, internal contract management system.
Analyze monthly reports for multiple products and underwriters.
Analyze production data to identify trends; liaise with various departments to address and rectify issues.
Work within broad limits on highly complex assignments.
Education and Experience
College degree required
3+ years, experience in finance, accounting, insurance underwriting or financial analysis
Service Contract or Automotive Warranty Administrator experience preferred
SQL knowledge/experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Ability to decipher inaccuracies in a quick and timely manner
Critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to effectively assess data
Strong written and oral communication
