Master Black Belt
As one of a limited number of organizational Master Black Belts, the incumbent will be assigned to coach, train, mentor and lead Continuous Improvement activities for a Divisional or Functional organization. This position has significant leadership impact on the success of the Continuous Improvement program; it will provide both leadership and technical direction to the Black Belt, Green Belt and Continuous Improvement Leader resources within the assigned area.
Facilitates training for Black and Green Belt resources on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
Provides technical and leadership coaching support to Black and Green Belt resources assigned to projects related to Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
Provides oversight and management for large-scale, cross-divisional projects; may directly lead and manage complex, large-scale organizational improvement projects utilizing Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
Partners with Continuous Improvement Leaders in identification and monitoring of process improvement teams.
Collaborates with other Master Black Belts to share best practices.
Integrates best practices into Continuous Improvement curriculum.
Recruits talent and identifies centralized efforts to ensure the success of the Continuous Improvement program in the organization.
Leads multiple process improvement teams towards Continuous Improvement to result in defect reduction, cost avoidance, cash flow improvement, loss reduction and/or revenue enhancement.
Facilitates quality and change management processes; identifies customer needs and key drivers to reach customer satisfaction goals with financial benefit
Monitors service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and project delivery to ensure benefits are realized.
Offers technical expertise and guidance in project reviews
Ensures open communication throughout all levels of the organization.

Master Black Belt Certification
Experience utilizing project management tools, and application of continuous process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent.
Demonstrated continuous improvement program management competency
Demonstrated track record of leading teams within complex, matrix organizations with a significant number of stakeholders; comfortable leading and facilitating groups, most notably during change efforts
Transactional experience with focus on manufacturing/operations, sales and/or service
Proven leadership, project management, problem-solving and team development skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated success initiating change and ability to influence at all levels
