The Intern Job assignment is for the summer or during extended breaks from school. The intern will evaluate Automated Material Handling equipment performance metrics and longdown failures, and supplier information to organize and Pareto all equipment failures the past 3-5 years. The intern will also need to develop a system for categorizing and organizing based on incident, root cause, occurrences, solution, etc. such that the data can go into one spreadsheet to evaluate factory impact. The intern will work with Equipment Engineers to develop Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
Qualifications
At least two years of school working towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Good organization, communication and technical skills. Self motivated requiring minimum supervision.
