Under direct supervision completes information architect tasks which include but are not limited to data analysis, data profiling, logical and physical data modeling, development of data access and ETL specifications, ad hoc data query and extraction support, reference data creation and management, test data creation, application testing, and documentation supporting application development efforts of simple to average complexity
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Focus is on single tasks that involve developing data analysis and modeling skills and learning the application architecture and business requirements of the area supported including: Requirements analysis
Data analysis and ad hoc data support
Data access and ETL specifications
4 year degree preferably in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent
Strong communication and organizational skills
Solid analytical skills and ability to think logically
Basic SQL skills
Knowledge of relational databases
Highly motivated self-starter
Developing technical competence in sql development across multiple dbms platforms, data modeling tasks, and a basic understanding of the business function supported
Business Knowledge & Partnership
Effectively contributes and communicates with the immediate team, and other internal and
external business partners through collaboration. Developing a solid understanding of the
business data, relationships, and requirements for the business unit supported and is able to adjust priorities based on changing situations
Problem Solving & Decision Making
Developing the ability to determine and propose solutions to problems of simple to average
complexity. Assists supervisor in deciding the appropriate course of action
Builds relationships with peers to achieve objectives. Balances team and individual
responsibilities. Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views. Gives and welcomes

Accountable for all tasks delegated by the experienced team members
Planning and Project Management
