Responsibilities :
Provides troubleshooting and maintenance services for a LAN/MAN/WAN network infrastructure; Re v iews, tests and executes configuration tasks that enhance reliability and redundancy, increase bandwidth, improve traffic flow, and ensures the maximum availability of the network infrastructure; Desig n s and configures settings for switches and routers in multi-protocol inter-networks; Carries o ut performance, security monitoring, and documentation of the relevant network segments to ensure data integrity and environmental safety; Assists cus t omers with determining their requirements for network performance, security, capacity and scalability; Provides high- l evel design services for inter-network architecture, which could include LANs, routed and switched WANs, and remote access networks.

Skills Required:
Knowledge and experience with networking environments, including LAN and WAN environments, use an d management of firewalls, VPN, and dial-up and/or remote users; Knowledge and experience with in s talling and configuring Cisco network equipment in multiprotocol internetworks using LAN and WAN interfaces; Knowledge of and experience impleme n ting Cisco specific technologies including access-control lists, pvlans, and policy routing; Knowledge of Cisco CSS/CSM load balanc i ng hardware; Knowledge and experience in network secur i ty; Knowledge and experience in Checkpoint NG an d Cluster XL; Knowledge and experience in CI SCO FWSM/PIX/ASDM; Knowledge and experience with distributed sniffers and sniffer watch/NPO Visualizer.
