Girling Health Care's Home Health division is currently seeking a Intake Coordinator in Oklahoma City, OK!

SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing patient referrals, facilitating initial coding and obtaining all necessary documentation to ensure patient qualification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following; however other duties may be assigned:
Responsible for overseeing all patient client referrals.

Determines patient needs for skilled services according to eligibility requirement of state and federal guidelines.

Obtain necessary documentation for procedure of referrals, including making every effort to obtain the practitioner’s orders within timeframe guidelines and securing verification and authorization of benefits as appropriate.

Completes the initial coding.

Follows up on pending admissions per agency timeframe.

Maximizes intake productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications

Maintains all intake logs and tracking to report volume

Interacts with families and residents in a customer friendly way

Participates in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints (internal & external)

Completes all other duties as assigned in a timely, compliant manner

Required Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:

Education: LPN License

Experience and Skills: Good communication skills essential. Supervisory and/or Primary Home Care/CBA experience preferred. Proficient in MS Excel

Certificates/Licenses/and/or Registrations, etc..: N/A

Other Requirements : Must have excellent, professional communication and organizational skills. Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
