Reporting to the Director of Agent and Manager Training, the Training Specialist supports Bankers Learning Network (BLN) training and technology initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Supports Compliance relationship
*Owns relationship with PAC and Legal on form and document approval
*Assists with compliance requests as needed including Department of Insurance (DOI) requests
• Agent, Branch Office Administrator (BOA) and Management website
*Works closely with Director of Agent and Manager of Training, Senior Business Analyst and Manager of Leadership and Management Development to maintain the websites as assigned
*Locates additional resources to support agent and manager training and suggests improvements on site
*Supports Senior Business Analyst to ensure website content and functionality are working properly – work with Sales Technology to address site issues as appropriate
• Develops online coursework
*Works with Subject Matter Experts to capture learning points and design delivery of material as assigned
*Builds online courses using appropriate delivery modes
• Assists Director of Agent and Manager Training in creation of appropriate training courses and materials including product, process and compliance training
• Assists Senior Business Analyst in providing service for all Medicare Advantage and partner training processes with goal of transitioning this function in future years
• Works closely with BLN Project Manager, designs and implements all aspects of the BOA communication strategies for Branch Office Administrator training and other aspects for Medicare Advantage partners
• Partners with BLN team members to support team development and communications
• Participates in cross-functional teams as assigned
• Offers creative suggestions to Director of Agent and Manager Training regarding strategies and tools to support all BLN Initiatives.
• Updates and creates training documents as needed
• Provides training support as needed
• Engages in communication strategy for assign projects
• Works together with all team members in a professional manner
• Other assignments as determined
Key Requirements
• Bachelors degree preferred
• 2 to 4 years of professional work experience
• MS Office proficiency
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Experience with Captivate, Articulate, or other online course software a plus
• Experience with an LMS a plus
• Insurance field experience a plus
