Technology Early Career Development Program (TECDP) Summer Internship

Cigna IT is looking for passionate technology-focused individuals to join us for a summer internship as an associate in the Technology Early Career Development Program (TECDP) Internship Program.

The TECDP summer internship offers students interested in the field of technology a realistic experience of what it’s like to work in Information Technology at Cigna. As a TECDP intern, you will be dedicated to support Cigna's mission of improving the health, well-being and sense of security of those we serve and will be given the opportunity to spend the summer months in an area of IT, helping drive that mission forward. The internship is designed to develop an individual’s IT and leadership skills and interests. The TECDP program manager will work with the interns to determine the best role for them prior to starting.

Opportunities for TECDP interns are available in several areas of IT that support the business such as HealthCare, Group Insurance, International, Information Protection or Infrastructure Operations. Our interns are treated as if they were Full-Time associates in the program and this opportunity act as a catalyst to a full-time position upon graduation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in Information Technology
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science & Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Ability to effectively communicate via oral and written channels
