Our Irvine, CA headquarters is currently seeking applicants for:
IT Support Specialist
This position will administer IT related applications such as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint Moss 2007 under supervision of the IT Director.
The position will require the candidate to have a good understanding of basic programming languages such as HTML, Java and Powershell. A qualified candidate will have previous experience working with SCCM and SharePoint.
Aside from the listed tasks, the IT Director can assign additional task/duties not specified.
Administer all aspect of SCCM: Infrastructure, administrator console, software/hardware inventory, software distribution, monitoring and alerts.
Configure server with SQL database, setup prerequisites and perform installs and uninstalls of SCCM Secondary Sites
Administer Active Directory groups and its relationship to SCCM
Script new software with Powershell for deployment across multiple SCCM sites
Test new OS installations and create Task Sequence to deploy images across multiple SCCM sites
Collaborate with hardware vendors to evaluate hardware and perform “Driver Integration” within SCCM
Other assigned SCCM tasks
Administer all areas of MS SharePoint Moss 2007 from Farm environment, administrator console, SQL database, site collections and document libraries.
Maintain SQL Database, perform SharePoint site and file restore recovers and backups.
Create workflows to help streamline work processes
Knowledge of HTML and JAVA is required
Experience with SharePoint designer 2007 or 2010; 2007 and 2010 SharePoint Farm
Remote desktop support – Dameware, Windows Remote Desktop
Helpdesk – assign and complete trouble tickets
BS in Computer Science or comparable on-the-job experience
Minimum 3 years on-the-job, functional experience with above systems.
Strong analytical capabilities to investigate and define problem cases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to teach and train associates in all aspects of operations.
Strong organization and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with various user groups.
Must be able to perform most if not all of the job functions listed
