Assesses, designs, presents, supports and/or coordinates educational programs, in-services, and orientation for designated nursing and clinical personnel along side a dynamic clinical professional development team. Facilitates the education and orientation to new concepts, equipment and technologies that improve patient care and quality outcomes. Actively pursues new developments in clinical practice and educational methods that supports competency, life-long learning and professional development for clinical staff. Implements and evaluates strategies that enhance the use of evidence-based research findings in clinical practice and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in nursing or equivalent, Master’s degree required. Master's in Nursing strongly preferred. Minumum five years of acute care nursing with recent Emergency Nursing and/or Critical Care experience. Current CT RN license required.
BLS, ACLS required.
