This position is located in East Providence, RI.
Receives and places calls concerning products/services to maximize sales opportunities. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of Sovereigns products/services, identifies customers needs and recommends products/services that will best meet those needs. Places outbound calls to build relationships, follow up and promote sales.
Answers inbound sales related calls and handles referrals from customer service representatives.
Assists new hires prior to taking calls, explaining sales process and providing tips between calls.
Follows-up to inform customer of loan decision, calls back to obtain required documentation, insures signature card is returned.
Follows-up with customers and internal departments to make sales.
Identifies payment protection opportunities and cross sells SLPP products to Loan Customers, refers to mortgage and investments.
Places outbound calls to sell Sovereign products and services.
Education: Bachelors or Equivalent
License/Certificates: Insurance License Series 6
Experience - Four or more years sales experience in banking or financial industry. Consultative sales experience.
Ability to handle multiple demands, manage time, prioritize, persevere and achieve goals.
Ability to make decisions and justify results.
Active listening skills, problem solving skills and telephone sales presentation ability.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
