The successful candidate will perform various advanced administrative and secretarial work to provide support to the General Manager. This position requires a high-energy, enthusiastic individual with outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently without direct supervision.

The successful candidate must be willing to work closely with other team members; accuracy and professionalism are required in all aspects of the work for this position.

The successful candidate must be service-oriented and able to adapt to the changing needs of our organization, and be willing to play a strong and active role in support of the administrative needs of the General Manager and Company related projects.

The ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent communications skills are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative and secretarial support for the General Manager and operational staff.

Maintain variety of electronic and hard copy administrative records using MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional, as well as other basic software programs and office equipment.

Complete and process administrative forms and paperwork as necessary.

Gather and compile information, reports and/or summarizes information as requested.

Complete and maintain ambulance personnel schedule.

Order supplies, fill supply requests and arrange delivery of supplies to field operations.

Answer phone calls, address inquires, and direct questions to appropriate staff when necessary.

Participate in staff and other meetings as necessary.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of directly related experience; OR, a certificate in Secretarial Science or Office Management AND two years of directly related experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Knowledge of standard office policies, procedures and equipment.

Skill in use of personal computers, software and office equipment.


Entry level $13/hr ($27,040/yr) DOE
