POSITION SUMMARY. The Group Account Director is a leader, and driver, of the business and ensures that the account(s) delivers on a quality of product and quality of profit. The GAD establishes the overall client relationship standards for the agency to follow, managing client expectations and exceeding them. He/she determines the strategic direction and tone of the account(s) as part of senior staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Account Leadership | Strategy • Establishes, manages and cultivates strong client relationships – cultural relevancy. • Leads annual planning process including GTM, digital and traditional channel strategies as agency partner • Drives innovative solutions for our clients • Develops and presents strategic platforms and messaging recommendations to the clients • Utilizes consumer insights to drive messaging and creative brief development • Keeps abreast of current trends within relationship marketing and client category • Stays abreast of agency and client competitive environment • Drives bottom line value to the client ’s business as proven by ROI • Fosters relationships and ensures strong communication among all agency departments, including Finance, Operations, Media Services, Account Services, Creative Services and Interactive Services Staff Management • Interfaces and partners with Client senior leadership to drive their business forward • Responsible for leading/managing/mentoring the account service team • Develop a strong account team and make changes appropriately. Identifies the appropriate resources to get the job done and mange the business effectively and efficiently • Sets quality standards for the group and enforces adherence – consistency Financial Stewardship • Works with CEO/President to develop and negotiate scope of work • Presents fees to client in conjunction with CEO/President and obtains client approval • Manages revenue and profitability of account and contributes to overall agency profitability • Financially responsible for all group costs, including T"E budget Organic Growth • Responsible for the growth and vitality of account(s), including organic growth • Identifies short-term and long-term opportunities to foster growth of business • Aggressively pursues new ways to contribute to overall agency and client revenue and profitability • Develops and reviews proactive ideas to grow the business PRE-REQUISITES.

  • Ensuring that Factory Design Labs delivers every project on time, in budget and maintaining Factory Design Lab ’s gross margin targets and profitability. • The ability to multi task between client responsibilities, management responsibilities and partner responsibilities. • The ability to create a seamless communication environment between Finance, Operations, Media Services, Account Services, Creative Services and Interactive Services. • The ability to drive a creative centric environment and produce measurable results for the company.
  • An intrinsic understanding of assigned client(s) business model and plan for the future. SUPERVISION OF. • Assigned Account Service team (may include Account Director, Account Supervisor, Account Manager, Account Coordinator) QUALIFICATIONS. • Must be an industry leader with highly visible profile with 10+ years of proven experience (agency experience strongly preferred) • Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal departmental relationships • Must have a proven track record in managing both digital and traditional accounts • Degree in related field preferred, Masters degree a plus • Proven team builder and mentor • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Strong problem solving skills • Ability to travel • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities • Ability to work outside normal business hour, with or without advance notification, based on demanding workload
