Software Intern - 704063 Description Job Description: The proposed Job would be one of Software Programming specifically to come up with software solutions to automate some of the manual and repeatable operations within the Server Package Designs. The resulting automated solution is expected to improve efficiency, agility of the PKG Team. The position also allows the graduate to get exposure to get a sneak preview into how one of the most skilled and trained PKG community in the world operates. This could serve as an ideal opportunity for a graduate student to determine his/her path for future coursework. An ideal candidate would possess all of the qualifications below a) Self-Motivated, energetic and willing to look at things with a fresh perspective. Someone who can bring new ideas to the table for automation. b) Can thrive in a team environment and work efficiently with diverse team in remote locations. c) Minimum qualifications would be BS in Engineering with excellent skills in programming (scripting language) like Visual Basic, Perl. a. Can take an idea from concept to code to fully packaged stand alone or integrated tool. b. Preferably can understand fundamental electrical design and strong hold on mathematics. d) Has good documentation and presentation skills so that He/She can present the idea to a team of Engineers and articulate the concept. Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: - Must be pursuing a BS or MS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Electrical Engineering but a solid Software background would be strongly preferred. - Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship Preferred requirements: Exposure to CAD or Automated Design tools, highly desired. Exposure to include proficiency in Cadence APD/Allegro, Excel Macros & other Enterprise Office applications, desired.
